Frequently Asked Questions

How long will my project take?

We deliver your initial resume draft within 7 business days of your project launch interview. Once your edits are received by us, we turn all edits/revisions around in 1-2 business days. If we are creating a resume and LinkedIn profile, you can expect a typical turnaround time of two weeks from start to finish.

How much time do I need to invest?

Our structured process ensures that we do all the heavy lifting. Other than thinking through some of the topics we’ll cover together during our call, you’ll only need to provide feedback for revisions.

Who will I work with?

In effect, you will work simultaneously with a small team of experts. Your one-on-one project launch interview will be with Denese, and she will collaborate with the rest of the team while also providing final check-offs to make certain your project is the best that it can be.

Do you use worksheets or questionnaires?

We believe the best way to get the context and rich information we need is through a conversation. This also saves you time and puts the heavy lifting on us. We use your existing resume (if you have one) to understand your career progression along with our initial project interview to gain an understanding of where you want to go.

How many revisions can I expect?

Some of our projects hit the mark right off the bat and need no revisions. Other projects may require one or two rounds. We’re pretty good at optimizing your documents before you see them and, as such, projects usually only require minor tweaks. However, to answer the question -- as many as needed.

Do I get editable files of my final documents?

Of course! We send you a copy in Word so that you can make changes in the future and also a copy in PDF so that you are ready to start sending out your resume immediately.

Do you protect my confidentiality?

Absolutely! Most of our clients are currently employed and do not want their employers to know they’re looking for new opportunities. We work with you individually on your resume and take measures in LinkedIn to prevent announcing that your profile has been updated.

What if I don’t like my documents?

If you are unhappy with your initial draft or with your LinkedIn profile, we will work with you until you are satisfied and completely confident in how you are represented.
